We’re looking for a Fleet Manager to take ownership of our growing vehicle fleet and ensure our mobile operations continue to run smoothly and efficiently. This role combines day-to-day fleet coordination, vehicle maintenance oversight, registration, insurance management, and problem-solving. You’ll also assist with mobile facility logistics and work closely with cross-functional teams to support field operations.

First-year Fleet Managers in Austin can expect to earn up to $64,850 in total cash compensation, plus equity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee routine and preventative maintenance for all fleet vehicles
  • Coordinate and schedule vehicle repairs, inspections, and warranty work
  • Maintain accurate records for registration, insurance, service history, and compliance
  • Manage vendor relationships related to auto repair, insurance claims, and registration agencies
  • Troubleshoot fleet issues and provide timely solutions to keep operations running
  • Serve as the main point of contact for vehicle breakdowns and emergency repairs
  • Track and report on fleet performance, costs, and maintenance schedules
  • Support mobile build-outs or rebuilds as needed
  • Collaborate with operations team to forecast and plan for new fleet needs

Qualifications

  • Experience managing a fleet of vehicles with a strong track record of operational excellence is strongly desired.
  • Demonstrates a strong ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, processes, and industry standards.
  • Thrive in fast-paced, goal-oriented environments focused on performance, safety, and continuous improvement
  • Ability to work effectively with vendors, shops, and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Mechanical experience is a strong plus—but not required.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Slack, and Airtable/Excel.
Compensation
  • Base Salary: $55,000
  • Performance Bonus: Up to 7% of base salary annually ($3,850) - half paid in cash
    ($1,925), half in stock options
  • Team Revenue Bonus: $500/month when we hit monthly goals ($6,000 annually - we
    hit our goals 9 out of 12 months in 2024)
  • Total Cash Compensation: Up to $64,850
  • Equity: Stock options through performance bonus and additional grants based on
    performance
All team members regardless of position are eligible for additional stock option grants and profit
sharing based on performance. We expect both cash and equity compensation to grow as the
company scales.
