First-year Business Operations Associates in Austin can expect to earn up to $70,200 in total
cash compensation, plus equity.

What You’ll Do

• Operate a CNC router, 3D printers, drills, saws, and other tools to assist in the assembly, testing, deployment, and enhancement of our equipment, storefronts, and fleet.
• Serve as a first responder for emergency issues affecting daily operations across multiple states. Proactively communicate with the broader team to help reduce downtime and improve service quality.
• Monitor daily reports and logs to ensure optimal equipment performance and uptime.
• Assist with repairs and help manage parts inventory for both repairs and new builds.
• Collaborate with teams across the company to ensure smooth, efficient operations.

What We’re Looking For

• Mechanical experience is a strong plus—but not required. What’s essential is your enthusiasm to learn and apply technical skills.
• Members of the Operations team share responsibility for monitoring and managing emergency issues, including some weekend on-call coverage.
• Primary work will be based in our Austin, TX office, with occasional travel to other BodySpec regions.

• Base Salary: $60,000
• Performance Bonus: Up to 7% of base salary annually ($4,200) - half paid in cash ($2,100), half in stock options
• Team Revenue Bonus: $500/month when we hit monthly goals ($6,000 annually - we hit our goals 9 out of 12 months in 2024)
• Total Cash Compensation: Up to $70,200
• Equity: Stock options through performance bonus and additional grants based on performance
